

Leila Duclos is one of the up-and-coming talents of the Paris musical scene, which is considered by far one of the most important city of european jazz. The french singer-songwriter and guitarist has been immersed in the world of jazz since she was a child, also being a daughter of art, in fact her father Cyril, also guitarist, passed on to her the great passion for Gipsy Jazz and Django Reinhardt. Among her idols there is the legendary Ella Fitzgerald, from whom she has always been inspired, to the point of developing the virtuous technique of scat using the voice as a musical instrument. Leïla Duclos performs in many Parisian, French, English and Italian jazz clubs and festivals, collaborating also with great musicians such as masters of gipsy jazz Raphael Fays, Costel Nitescu, Steve Laffont, Pierre Bertrand and the Italian multi-instrumentalist Max Barrella.
Leila Duclos also collaborated on the new album of the emblematic guitarist Ninine GARCIA, « Héritages » (©ContinuoJazz2019), alongside French celebrities : Liane Floy, Thomas Dutronc, Stéphane Sanseverino and Noé Reinhardt.
