Noé Huchard has emerged as one of the most prominent musicians of his generation. Born in 1999, he grew up in Seine-et-Marne and entered the conservatory at the age of six to study classical piano. However, his interest in other musical genres — particularly jazz and improvised music — developed very early through the influence of his father, drummer Stéphane Huchard. It was during his teenage years that he began working seriously on these styles alongside his classical studies. After three years at the Conservatoire du Val Maubuée, followed by one year at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris, he entered the jazz department of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) at the age of 17.
Alongside his activity as a pianist, his work in writing and composition at the Conservatory led him to compose a piece for symphony orchestra during the final year of his studies. He graduated from the CNSMDP with a Master’s degree with highest distinction in June 2021.
In October 2019, he was invited by classical pianist Yves Henry to perform a solo concert at the French Consulate in New York, where he received the Young Pianist Award 2019.
He also began performing in numerous festivals around the world (Argentina, Germany, Mexico, Guadeloupe, Italy, the United States, and La Réunion).
His first album, Song for, recorded in trio and released in January 2020 on the label Soupir Musique, was widely praised by the French press (Jazz Magazine « Revelation », Mezzo TV Top Selection, 3F Télérama…).
In September 2021, he won the Piano Jazz Chorus Competition in Lausanne, under the honorary presidency of Martial Solal.
A highly sought-after musician, Noé Huchard has progressively joined the bands of Éric Le Lann, Cecil L. Recchia, Sandro Zerafa, Malo Mazurié, the Zoot Collectif, Pierre Boussaguet & Géraud Portal, Fabien Mary, and has recorded around ten albums as a sideman.
He also co-leads the group The Hookup with Géraldine Laurent, François and Louis Moutin, whose album Twenties was released in February 2025 on the label Jazz Eleven.
At the end of 2025, his second album as a leader, Young and Fine, was released and received strong critical acclaim.
He was notably named “French Revelation of the Year” by Jazz Magazine/Jazz News.
