Rhythm Hand Blues

An inclusive blues show where music and sign language interact to highlight stories of women and humanity. Thanks to the presence of a deaf sign language interpreter, the concert becomes accessible to all, sensitive and visual. Our original compositions and covers celebrate the strength and diversity of human experiences in an open and benevolent spirit. A moment of sharing that brings people together.

Biography

A blues that is as much seen as it is heard.

Our show brings together a trio of musicians, a hearing singer, and a deaf sign language interpreter who gives the blues a visual dimension.
Together, they narrate the strength, fragility, and commitment of women to their autonomy in society through songs performed by renowned female singers and original compositions by Emilie Hedou.
Intimate, universal stories that touch every person, regardless of their background.

On stage, voice, instruments, and sign language respond to and complement each other.

The show becomes a meeting place where diversity – of bodies, voices, life paths – is celebrated.

This project is not a manifesto, it is an invitation. An invitation to listen differently, and to feel what music can create when it becomes a language shared by all.

A blues that unites. A blues that creates space, that gives strength, and that inspires you to stand tall.
